Jeanne Kirkpatrick is the Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. MS. Kirkpatrick was for years on the letterhead the Fabian Socialist League for Industrial Democracy. The Fabian Society is honest among themselves about their dishonesty. Their emblem is a sheep in wolfs clothing.

The Fabian Society is a British socialist movement, whose purpose is to advance the principles of socialism via gradualist and reformist, rather than revolutionary, means. It is best known for its initial ground-breaking work beginning late in the 19th century and continuing up to World War I. The society laid many of the foundations of the Labour Party and subsequently affected the policies of states emerging from the decolonisation of the British Empire, especially India. They emblem of the society is the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing.

Today, the society is a vanguard think tank of the New Labour movement. It is one of 15 socialist societies affiliated to the Labour Party. Similar societies exist in Australia (the Australian Fabian Society), Canada (the Douglas-Coldwell Foundation and in the past the League for Social Reconstruction) and New Zealand.

What then is the REAL goal of the Obama Health Care Plan? It should be apparent that Obama wants to get a large “comprehensive” plan enacted – one that creates lots of entitlements. That it may prove to be both unworkable and unconstitutional is not only “not a problem” to him and his cronies, THAT IS THE INTENTION. When this new system inevitably becomes overly burdensome THEN they will propose (and maybe then rightly so) that the only way out will be a full blown, income tax funded, National Health Care System (in progressive speak, a "Public Option"). If we could go back and take away the entitlements, then that would be a way out. But we all know how that works, don't we?

This plan is right out of the 120 year old Fabian papers. This tactic is referred to as “crisis creation” and it goes like this; first do anything possible to screw up the capitalist system and then, when there is discord and panic among the citizenry, propose a step toward socialism as the cure. It doesn't matter that socialist intervention was the root of the problem. The public is too stupid to figure that out. Look how well it worked in the current economic crisis. The Democrats, over the heated objection of Republicans, forced Fannie and Freddie to give loans to those who cannot afford them. The end result: The “Bail Out Bill” - the biggest single step toward socialism, that didn't involve an armed revolt, in history. This plan never fails. As Obama's mad dog White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel recently said, "We never let a good crisis go to waste."

Note that the famous Cloward-Piven strategy for “Controlled Crisis Creation for Crippling Capitalism,” that was all the rage in academic circles back in the 60's, is really just a subset of this overall Fabian concept of “Crisis Creation” strategy that has been around much longer. That strategy has sometimes been restated as, “Building Socialism on the ashes of Capitalism.”

If we watch for these things, if we recognize and understand them when we see them, then we have a fighting chance.

Shaw wrote for the Fabian Society from 1884 until 1929. During that time he wrote sixteen tracts and edited at least two dozen others. For this book, Shaw took charge of all aspects of production. This included editing the text, writing the preface, compiling the index, supervising the cover design by Walter Crane and the spine design by May Morris, choosing the paper, selecting the type, and writing the handbill announcement. Two of his essays appear in the volume, "The Basis of Socialism: Economic" and "The Transition to Social Democracy."

Intelligence in Lifestyle Magazine

Intelligence in Lifestyle or IL is a relatively young Italian magazine about contemporary passions and consumptions. It premiered in September of 2008, and like T Magazine, the style supplement of The New York Times, IL is the supplement to the Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 ORE. The design takes inspiration from Swiss formalism, fashion magazines, and popular Italian & Northern European periodicals from the 70s. As for the content, I only wish I could read Italian. For now, I’ll just pore over the layout, typography, and infographics—oh my, the infographics—I’m a huge fan of Feltron—but egad, these ones are amazing.

Francesco Franchi, one of the art directors for IL, archives all the covers and various interiors on his Flickr feed, and you can view them in much higher resolutions. I couldn’t quite figure out the serif font used throughout the magazine, and Francesco was kind enough to identify it for me: Publico, released under the foundry Commercial Type and designed by Paul Barnes, Christian Schwartz, Kai Bernau, and Ross Milne. It’s sexy and elegant and not nearly as ubiquitous as say, Helvetica or more recently, Archer.

Other things I love about IL:

• Cover design consistency
• The cutout of the IL logotype on the cover
• The perfect combination of serif and sans serif type
• The use of color as part of a theme, complementary to the content

I just want to dismantle the whole thing and hang the pages up as framed art.

Intelligence in Lifestyle magazine is the new holy grail of infographic greatness. It is a high-end Italian magazine aimed at men. The magazine is equipped with a beautiful design by the art director Francesco Franchi and the creative director Luca Pitoni.

For some of us, getting ahold of the magazine could be difficult. However, several several of the layouts from the interiors spreads and covers are archived on Flickr. Check out the larger sizes, they may compliment your desktop nicely. If in case you’re wondering, the magazine utilizes Publico, a serif face that fits perfectly into the design is much less ubiquitous than say Helvetica or Archer.

On another note prior to being introduced to this magazine via Colorcubic, I was starting to become overwhelmed by the amount of infographics being pumped into the designosphere. Infographics about infographics were being designed for crying out loud. It just seems like it has become trendy very quickly. It’s not to say its a bad thing, but it sure makes me appreciate great design like in this magazine or Nicholas Felton’s works more than ever before.

I’m curious to hear what your thoughts are on this topic.

Illuminati Card Game created in 1995

Two cards from the Illuminati Card Game created in 1995 ... several years before 9/11

In 1990, role-playing inventor, Steve Jackson, was planning his newest game, which he would ultimately call the Illuminati -- New World Order Game, or "INWO" for short.

As you can see from the picture above, one card shows the first Twin Towers of the World Trade Center being hit by "Terrorists" at the distance it actually occured during 9/11 and another one shows the Pentagon in fire at is center, the rest being intact. As we know a plane allegedly flew into a section of the Pentagon and nearly burned that section completely. However, the rest of the Pentagon was undamaged to the point where its functions continued unimpeded.

Of course this could be a coïncidence. But strangely his company has been visited by the secret service on March 1 1990 as reported on their site sjgames vs. the Secret Service: "A large amount of equipment was seized, including four computers, two laser printers, some loose hard disks and a great deal of assorted hardware. One of the computers was the one running the Illuminati BBS".

My hypothesis are these:

1°) It's pure coïncidence as said already

2°) Steve Jackson met insiders like Brzezinski, the right hand of Rockefeller or Aaron Russo who revealed that Nick Rockefeller had announced him some big event and that after that event the US would invade Irak - nevertheless it's must be somebody else than Russo since Nick Rockfeller never told him precisely it would be the WTC or the Pentagon !

3°) Steve Jackson is himself a Secret Agent who has fabricated a covert to create an apparent opposition to the system by controlling an organization called "Electronic Frontier Foundation" which fights for privacy today.

Second hypothesis may be the most plausible but I don't discard the third one when I know that there is a very strong habit from the secret service to fabricate and/or control fake opposition (this is the basics of Hegelian Dialectic used for propaganda) see the case of Gloria Steinem, the iconic figure of Feminist Party who had been a CIA agent and whose magazine has been funded by them (if you want to know why Nick Rockfeller told Aaron Russo the two fundamental reasons).

There is no way I can choose between the three and you ? Maybe you have other hypothesis (Steve Jackson met a psychic for example ... like me :) once)

In 1990 an Illuminati Card Game was invented by Steven Jackson. The 'game' he had created ruffled quite a few feathers as he was promptly visited by the Secret Service who tried to shut him down and prevent the cards from being released. You can read Jacksons own account of the raid Here.

Apparrently Jackson must have either had some type of insider knowledge or the foresight of Nostrodumus because the game he created has turned out to be very close to the real thing. Several of the cards depict events in modern history that either have, or soon will occurr, including the attacks on the world trade center and pentagon.

Likewise another card, issued well before 9-11, showed the twin towers being taken down is one of the most shocking of all, especially in light of the fact that this game first hit the specialty stores in 1995! How in the world did Steve Jackson know that the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were going to be attacked? In fact, this card accurately depicted the World Trade Center attack in great detail. This card accurately depicts several facts of 9/11 — on cards created all the way back in 1995! The picture accurately depicts:

* That one tower was going to be struck first; this picture accurately depicts the moments between the first tower strike and the second.

* The card accurately depicts that the place of impact is some distance from the top of the twin towers. The plane hit in this approximate area of the first tower. How in the world could Steve Jackson know this fact?

The Amero - Currency of the North American Union

Amero

The North American currency union is a controversial proposal in which the three principal countries of North America, namely Canada, the United States and Mexico, would share a common currency. Implementation would probably involve the three countries giving up current currency units (Canadian dollar, US dollar and Mexican peso) and adopting a new one, created specifically for this purpose. The hypothetical currency for the union is sometimes referred to as the amero. The concept is modeled on the common European Union currency (the euro) and it is argued to be a natural extension of NAFTA. Conspiracy theorists contend that the governments of the US, Canada, and Mexico are already taking steps to implement such a currency.



The idea for a North American currency union was first proposed in 1999 by Canadian economist Herbert G. Grubel. A senior fellow of the Fraser Institute think-tank, he published a book entitled The Case for the Amero in September 1999, the year that the euro became a virtual currency. Another Canadian think-tank, the conservative C.D. Howe Institute, advocates the creation of a shared currency between Canada and the United States.

After the report came out, centre-left nationalist groups in Canada expressed their opposition to any currency union because they view it as an attempt by American businesses to gain access to Canada's extensive natural resources while dismantling the nation's social services. The 100,000 member strong Council of Canadians, a progressive advocacy group, has declared one of its central issues to be the threat of "deep integration."

The idea envisioned a currency union of the amero would mix the two dollars, and the peso, or it could also simply be dollarization of the American currency.

Some assert that having a single North American currency would be unconstitutional under the current U.S. constitution under Article 1, Section 8; which states that the United States Congress has the right to “coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures;”.

This concern rests on the contention that the Federal Reserve, created in 1913, is unconstitutionally issuing and regulating American currency as it is a quasi-government entity and not part of the legislative branch of the United States government. While physical U.S. Dollars are issued by the Department of the Treasury (in paper form by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, in coin form by the U.S. Mint), most dollars in existence are not in physical form, and the value of the dollar is largely controlled by the actions of the Federal Reserve in lending and purchasing government securities.
